           160-80 Mtrs: 1/4 wave sloper 

Comments: Finally added wire to 80 mtr slopper to get on 160 - finished about 30 minutes before contest! I was pleasantly surprised at results on 160. 80 seemed pretty noisy both nights. Good LP opening to EU on 40 Sat morning - but it didn't seem to be as good on Sunday morning. I missed prime time both mornings but still was able to get EU - especially Sunday afternoon on 20...good thing...my mult count was down this year. Quite a few of the JA's...which helped the Q count - otherwise score would have been WAY down! Several big sounding 100W signals.

Kurt, VP9/W6PH, seemed to be having a great time - worked him on 80, 40 and 20...but missed him on 160 and 15. Hope everyone had fun. C U next time -
